The battery to the remote was dead. My thoughts are somehow the installer of the remote start messed up my car.

Anti theft system car wont start ford. Unlock the car with the key fob, which should deactivate the system and allow you to start the car with an authorized ignition key. So i have an issue with my 2000 gt i had a remote start installed as i pulled out of the lot the anti theft light came on and the car died.it is now at the ford dealer and they are saying my fuel pump went out. If that doesn’t work, a hard reset, disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it, will do the trick for just about any make and model ever produced.

Average failure mileage is 30,000 miles. My securilock anti theft system on my 2006 ford focus activated somehow car will not do anything as far as engine even trying to start,anti theft red. The car engine should not come on, only the ignition.
What a waste if everyone's time and money over a nonsenical engineering problem. Lock your car and activate the securilock system by pressing the lock button twice on your key fob. If these do not work, i'll look into another program and see if there are any other reset procedures.
If you hear the doors lock, you’re set. Try your spare key in case the chip has failed in your primary key. I get a verbal message from the alarm about the anti.
The pat system has recognized the chip in the key and allows the starter to engage when. Then try starting it again! Once this happens, you can easily start your car.
Obviously verify correct key in ignition, next question did you cut a wire, did you disturb steering column shroud? The anti theft system kicked in and the car would not start. Turn the ignition to the on position.
Try another key if you have one.
